Nola Red’s Little Paws Big Steps Foundation is dedicated to helping children grow in kindness, confidence, and compassion — while also helping rescue dogs receive the veterinary care they need as they wait for their forever homes.

We believe differences should never be a reason for bullying. Whether it’s wearing glasses, learning at a different pace, feeling left out, or being misunderstood, every child deserves to feel accepted. That same compassion extends to rescue animals who need care, patience, and love.

What We Do

Teach Kindness & Acceptance

Through storytelling and school-based programs, we help children understand everyday differences and learn how to treat one another with empathy and respect

Stand Against Bullying

We support efforts that encourage children to speak up, support others, and grow from mistakes — creating safer, more caring communities.

Support Education

We offer scholarships for college and trade schools to students who demonstrate resilience, growth, and a commitment to kindness — including those who have volunteered in their communities or with animal shelters and rescue organizations.

Help Rescue Dogs Heal

We provide donations toward veterinary care for adoptable rescue dogs who have not yet found homes, giving them the chance to live healthy, happy lives.

The Little Paws Big Steps Scholarship

Our scholarship recognizes students who:
  • Have overcome bullying or exclusion
  • Have stood up for others
  • Have learned and grown from past mistakes
  • Have shown compassion through community service, especially with animal shelters or rescue organizations
