By day, I run a CPA practice that helps clients bring clarity and confidence to their financial lives. Numbers tell a story, and I love being the interpreter. Every spreadsheet has a rhythm; every tax strategy is a plot twist waiting to unfold. It’s a profession rooted in logic and reliability—something I’ve always found grounding. But when the office lights dim, a different story takes over—literally. I transform into a writer, chasing down characters and crafting narratives
that have nothing to do with balance sheets. Writing is my sanctuary, the space where I can be untamed, imaginative, and utterly human. Whether it’s poetry, short fiction, or musings like this one, storytelling fills a part of my soul that numbers simply can’t reach.
Crochet: The Thread That Binds It All
In between the numbers and the narratives, you’ll find me with a hook and skein of yarn in hand. Crochet is my moving meditation—an art form
that marries tactile repetition with endless creativity. From baby blankets to sculptural pieces, I’ve found it to be both a grounding habit and an expressive outlet. Crochet is also my quiet rebellion against the speed of modern life. It reminds me to slow down, to be patient, to appreciate the imperfect beauty of handmade things. Each stitch is a tiny declaration: I was here, I created this.
