Tom came on as my business partner not long after, bringing his brilliance, big-picture thinking, and an uncanny ability to make me laugh during the most stressful moments of the season. We complement each other perfectly: where I bring the detail and process, he brings the strategic vision and heart. Our clients notice that they don’t just work with a firm—they work with us. A team, a couple, a family.
A Day in Our World
Running a CPA firm together means our days are never dull. Mornings start with coffee and a quick check-in: client calls, filings, deadlines, team meetings. Some days we divide and conquer, others we’re shoulder-to-shoulder reviewing projects or prepping for strategy sessions.
We talk about the hard stuff openly—cash flow, hiring, pivot points—and the small wins too. A thank-you email from a grateful client can light up our whole day. We’ve learned to balance our strengths and give each other space to grow.
But when the laptops close, the partnership continues.
